My name is David Diltz and I’m new to Kerrville. My wife, Layne, and I moved here from southeast Texas in April so she could join her uncle’s optometry practice, Ford Eye Care Center.
I have been an elementary school PE teacher for the past 7 years, first at Gregg Elementary School in Houston, and then at Tyrrell Elementary School in Port Arthur. During that time I also coached basketball, soccer and track. I am honored and excited to take on the role of Athletic Director and PE Teacher here at Notre Dame. I am eager to help mold my new students into great athletes and people, and look forward to helping influence their lives in a positive way.
In my spare time, I like to fish, play tennis ,watch sports and spend time outdoors with my wife and our Siberian Husky, Layla.
