Just a few reminders for our" Fitness Day"...
What to Wear: Students may wear comfortable athletic warm-ups, sweats, or wind suits and layer appropriately for weather. Please bring a reusable plastic water bottle to keep hydrated, students may refill their water bottles at the water cooler fountains.
Lunch Options: There is no ordering lunch as we normally do with Chic fil A...no Chic Fil A on Thursday. Instead, the school will be serving students a Salad Bar for lunch. Here is what is on the Salad Bar-A variety of lettuces, cucumber, chopped ham, bacon bits, black olives, cherry tomatoes, carrots, boiled eggs, vanilla yogurt, peaches, potato salad, green olives, croutons, green onions, homemade granola. Choice of Ranch Dressing or Olive Garden Vinaigrette Dressing. The students will get to choose what they would like on their salads. Regular Milk or Tea.
So...if you think that your child might not like the salad bar or need extra supplemental food, please send a sack lunch to go with their salad bar. No child will be forced to eat the salad bar.
