Celebrating Over 110 Years of Academic Excellence
COLDWELL LEGACY
Michelle Petsch Coldwell (’81) and her daughters Sydney Coldwell Buettner (‘07) and Rylee Coldwell (’15) share more than family ties. They are just one family out of dozens whose multi-generational academic journey began here in the Texas hill country at Notre Dame Catholic School. Most of you will recognize Mrs. Coldwell (Michelle) from our school office. Wearing many hats over the years as Administrative Assistant, Student Registrar, and Office Manager, she has been a core member of our administrative team since 2005.
“Our daughter attended Notre Dame Catholic School and graduated in 2021. It provided the academic foundation for her to excel in high school at Our Lady of the Hills College Prep (OLH). OLH has very rigorous academic standards, and demands on students are great. As a result of the Notre Dame faculty and administration's equally high standards of expectations, our daughter continually meets or exceeds expectations in higher school. The student to faculty ratio at Notre Dame is amongst the lowest in the Texas Hill Country, allowing students to benefit from this ratio as well as one-on-one instruction or tutoring whenever the need arose. The faculty here is second to none. They also have an excellent athletics/PE and sports program. The Athletic Director and his coaches for many sports are top notch and to use a sports metaphor, are franchise players, all of whom patiently impart their wisdom on the student-athlete, individually and collectively. We wholeheartedly endorse Notre Dame and recommend this learning institution without hesitation.” ~ Craig and Regena Johns, Hunt Texas
"Tradition, Catholic faith and values, academic excellence and family are all reasons we, and two other generations of our family members before us, have chosen Notre Dame Catholic School! We love the small class sizes, individualized teaching and attention our children receive at Notre Dame. We look forward to our children being third generation alumni of our beloved school.” ~ Michelle & Fernando Gutierrez, NDCS Alumni & Parents
"Notre Dame Catholic School has impacted the Whelan family for four generations. It focuses on a high-quality education while developing character, values and a strong relationship with Christ." ~ Kevin Whelan, NDCS Alumni & Parent
