Course description:
 
We teach reading skills through Journeys by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Each story has special components and objectives for a particular week.
They include : grammar, spelling, language skills, and learning the writing process. In additon, students choose books within their interests and take AR tests to evaluate their comprehension. We read all genres and meet twice each week for book discussion. Students work with peers and visit centers to continue skills for that particular week.
