Dear Parents-

Now that we have finished exploring paint and exposed to screen terminology of Microsoft programs, your kindergartners are learning about going places online safely.

 

This of course brings up stranger danger topics, and what they know about keeping themselves safe. While I do not introduce specific ideas such as 'strangers taking you away', other children do say this in class. Your child may come home with questions or concerns.

 

After we discuss internet safety we will move on to excel. At this age we will learn how to draw pictures in excel while they learn about rows, columns and cells. After that, we will listen to the classical music of Peter and the Wolf with narration by Boris Karloff- while your children listen, they will draw what they hear on excel and/or paint.

 

Tomorrow is the open house, please come by and see the work your children have done.
