Bio

I was born in Three Rivers, Michigan many years ago, and attended Three Rivers High School  attending Alma College for one year , I married and had two beautiful daughters: . I returned to Western Michigan University Teachers College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree and Elementary Education Minor. I attended Texas A&M receiving Gifted & Talent Endorsement, English as a Second Language Endorsement and Life Time Teaching Certificate.  

I taught in the public schools for 25 years,retiring to Kerrville in 2006. During my teaching career I have been Teacher of the year 3 time and the highest recognition was two years ago when I was honored as one of five Top Catholic School Teachers in the Archdiocese. I also have received two Newspaper in Education Teacher of the Month award.

 I have taught  here for 11  years and have gone back to school and completed my level III Catechist certification.

My teaching assignment is 5th ELA and Religion, 6th grade Religion and a problem solving Team called DI. I follow the Mission Statement and Teaching philosophy as stated in the Handbook. I believe that all student can succeed and be the best they can be, following our Christian values and teaching.
